Nano crossbar array of Complementary Resistive Switches with nonlinear memristive characteristics

Emerging solid state memory devices based on different materials and volatility has been widely acknowledged like NVRAMs (or Memristor).Evolution of new solid state ionic conductors and in particular (Memristor) brought impetus to the creation of new domain of larger storage capabilities for the future electronic systems. The achievements of these emerging technologies are kind of encouraging w...

A Nonlinear HP-Type Complementary Resistive Switch

Resistive Switching (RS) is the change in resistance of a dielectric under the influence of an external current or electric field. This change is non-volatile, and the basis of both the memristor and resistive random access memory. In the latter, high integration densities favor the anti-serial combination of two RS-elements to a single cell, termed the complementary resistive switch (CRS). Mot...

Resistive Content Addressable Memory for Configurable Approximation

Associative memory, as a form of computing-with-memory, reduces energy of the processing elements by eliminating redundant computations [2], [8], [11]–[15], [17]–[20]. An associative memory can quickly recall responses of a function for a subset of input patterns to save energy by avoiding the actual function execution on the processing element. An associative memory is typically composed of a ...
